ZEDroof
Even in the UK we get good amounts of sunlight falling on our roof surfaces each year. Most roofs do a good job shedding water and keeping us warm, but little else - so the ZEDfactory decided to rethink what a roof could and should do for the modern home.
We call this the ZEDroof: a fully integrated energy roof.

The ZEDroof is composed
of large interlocking tiles that are fully interchangeable allowing
different combinations of PV, SHW and rooflights.
The Tedlar backed translucent PV panels allow light to filter through into the space below, creating an beautiful and useful conservatory in the roof.
The whole ZEDroof surface is flush fitting and made with matt black anodised aluminium making it attractive, unobtrusive and easy to maintain.
Installing an integrated ZEDroof can also make you money. If your existing property needs re-roofing, the ZEDroof offers a more economical solution. For a similar price to a typical new roof surface, the translucent ZEDroof can create a useful rooftop conservatory, whilst also providing free electricity and hot water. This can be upgraded by insulating between the rafters at a later date, providing an additional habitable room, for example an extra bedroom or study, which would also add value to your home.
Thanks to the government’s Feed-In Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive, the ZEDroof saves you money on your annual bills, whilst also recovering the initial investment. After a pay-back period of as low as 6 years, the ZEDroof can start to provide you with an annual income.
